Two decades of face-to-face hospitality
Plain Scope Agency opened its doors on Henley Beach Road in the early 2000s as a modest ten-room guesthouse. Over the following years the property expanded gradually — first with a pool terrace and garden wing, then with a supervised gaming floor and, later, a dedicated function hall for private parties.
What never changed was the promise made by our founders: every guest is greeted at the door, every key is handed over by a real person, and every table is hosted, never automated. That promise still shapes how Plain Scope Agency runs today, from the concierge desk to the last hand dealt on the floor each evening.
We remain independently owned and locally staffed, drawing regular guests from Underdale, Henley Beach and greater Adelaide, alongside visitors travelling through South Australia for a slower, more personal kind of stay.
